Discovering the Deep

One in a series of ommissioned artworks for a project that dealt with human adaption to an everchanging environment and its impact on the ocean, lead by Hannah Marlen Luebker. It is meant to be partially scientific and plausible, but also with a big dose of science fiction in it, to allow for more creative freedom.
This one showcases the exploration of the ocean, both old and new, after it has substantially risen and swallowed large parts of the planet, leading to a changed ecosystem and necessitates an adaption of humanity to its new world.
